Title: Mixing for infinite measure systems

Abstract: I will discuss the two most common notions of mixing for infinite measure systems: Krickeberg mixing (from the 1960s) and global-local mixing (Lenci, 2010) and state results on both of these for intermittent maps (with one or more neutral fixed points). I will also describe how proving Krickeberg mixing can be used as a first step in proving global-local mixing.

Abstract: Continuing on from Ian’s talk, I will give an overview of how to conclude the proof of global-local mixing for interval maps with several neutral fixed points.
