Workshop in Statistical and Computational Aspects of Dynamics

 [expired]
On 13-16 December 2022, the Centro “De Giorgi” of Pisa will host the workshop Statistical and Computational Aspects of Dynamics. See the page of the event for further details. Aims: After its establishment in the late 19th century through the efforts of Poincaré and Lyapunov, the theory of dynamical systems was applied to study the qualitative behaviour of dynamical processes in the real world. In such applications, problems related to parameter estimation, prediction and phase reconstruction in dynamics are ubiquitous and solving them involves the use of numerous statistical and computational techniques.

Workshop in Hamiltonian Systems and Celestial Mechanics University of Turin

 [expired]
On 14-16 December 2022, the University of Turin, Italy, will host a three-day workshop in hamiltonian systems and celestial mechanics. The workshop gathers recognized international experts which will present their recent contributions to the field of Hamiltonian Systems, with a special focus on Celestial Mechanics. During these three days of conferences, many different aspects related to the above topics will be deepened. A major emphasis will be given on the theoretical aspects (e.

School on conformal symplectic dynamics and related fields

 [expired]
The School on conformal symplectic dynamics and related fields will take place 8-12 May 2023 at CIRM, Marseille (France) This school will introduce the study of conformally symplectic dynamical systems defined on symplectic manifolds or, more generally, on conformally symplectic manifolds. This is a young subject with remarkable recent developments which opened several directions of investigation at the crossroad of dynamical systems, symplectic and contact topology, Hamilton-Jacobi equations and, in particular, weak-KAM theory.

Online lectures series: 'Introduction to computational ergodic theory'.

 [expired]
Online lectures “Introduction to computational ergodic theory” 1-5 August, 2022 The Hokkaido Summer Institute organizes a zoom online lecture series on computational ergodic theory on 1-5 August, 2022. The goal of the lectures is to introduce a software and the related theory providing tools for computer aided proofs and rigorous estimates on the statistical properties of dynamics. The lectures includes basics on ergodic theory, tutorials on the language Julia, with an introduction to interval arithmetic libraries and computer assisted proofs in dynamical systems and ergodic theory problems and the package RigorousInvariantMeasure.
