Two-year postdoc at UNSW Sydney

The School of Mathematics and Statistics at UNSW Sydney advertises a two-year postdoctoral position.

The Postdoctoral Fellow will undertake research within a 3+ year Australian Research Council Discovery Project at UNSW Sydney. The project seeks to advance the field of extreme value theory for random dynamical systems through the development of novel techniques in functional analysis, operator theory, and ergodic theory. Applications of the new theory will include the analysis of nonstationary spatiotemporal data arising from weather and climate observations/models.

Salary level: Level A, $113K - $121K plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading
