Nominations sought for the Michael Brin Dynamical Systems Prize for Young Mathematicians 2026
The selection committee of the Michael Brin Dynamical Systems Prize for Young Mathematicians is seeking nominations of outstanding candidates for the 2026 prize (the 6th edition) which will be awarded this Fall.
The prize was established by Anatole Katok in the fall of 2015 to recognize outstanding contributions to dynamical systems made by researchers within a few years of their Ph.D. The eligibility for the prize is limited to researchers within 4 years of their Ph.D. at the beginning of the prize calendar year. Work not yet accepted for publication in refereed journals can be considered for the award. However, complete proofs must be available as preprints.
